2002 was a great time in progressive melodies. Jurgen Leyers aka Dj Fire and Laurent Veronnez create two amazing productions, the result of which is a vinyl record released on the legendary Bonzai Trance Progressive label.

The track "JETLAG" starts out similarly to John ´00` Fleming's remix of Cafรฉ Del Mar. It's a nice touch with a strong bass line and a few background sounds. A high march with a pleasant melody begins, followed by several synthesizers. But that's still nothing. Wait for the moment when the vocals start !!! The vocals start out very soothingly, with a very emotional undertone. Enigma used such vocals in one of his songs. However, Enigma cannot be compared to DJ Fire. This is not a production to be listened to at home, but in a club. It was done with one purpose only to make people dance! It looks very good. The collapse in the middle is an interesting moment. Those divine vocals, strings like from a movie where something emotional happens. After that, it all coincides again at the last climax before it slows down and ends. On the other hand is "DIABOLIC".

This is something completely different. It starts out much calmer but with more strings, so there is a bit more emotion in the beginning. There are no vocals in this production. And good because in this situation it is a very good move. Conversely, it is more progressive and has less melody in the first part of the song. In the second part of this great track, a few new layers come into play which gives the track a twist. This adds a lot of energy. Both songs are equally good, but "Jetlag" has an advantage over "Diabolic" because of the amazing vocals. These are two fantastic productions that show the great talent of the producers. A vinyl record worth recommending to have in your collection !!!
