Kaimo shared a few points about his work. I invite you to an interview conducted only for Visions Of Trance. 1. What is trance music to you? Trance music for me is a feeling/euphoria. How do you perceive the state of the current trance music scene? I think the current scene is in a pretty good state at the moment. There’s plenty of newcomers who aren’t afraid to experiment and borrow sounds from other genres aswell. Of course there’s always this so called „template music“ but thats the thing with other genres aswell, right? 3. ...

An instant or emotion captured in melodies. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes uplifting, sometimes energetic. 2.  How do you perceive the state of the current trance music scene? I really enjoy it’s becoming bigger and better everyday. Trance has had a really bad ‘name’ but it’s being accepted (again) everywhere nowadays. I think that’s great. I feel it’s back to being inclusive, how it all started.  3.  What are your goals in producing trance music? For me truly, If I have a ‘goal’ in mind, I might not be true to my feeling or flow state while making music. I make music for me. In the moment. For the passion of it. It's one of the most euphoric trance productions ever and is so mysteriously interesting from start to finish. While the original is a great track, the version that caught the most attention was Matt Darey's Tekar mix. He infused it with breakbeats while still having that magical trance vibe, which is why it's still played to this day.  Mike recalls: "It was in 1998, around the time the first trance wave hit the UK. I remember watching MTV one night when I saw the original video for Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" and it occurred to me that the main melody would make a great trance tune. The next day I went to the studio ...
