Kaimo K (Ten Questions with...) Exclusive Interview & Guest Mix

  Kaimo Kerge known as Kaimo K is an Estonian producer who has been associated with the trance scene for several years. He released his tracks on such labels as Amsterdam Trance Records, Uplift Recordings, Molekular Sounds, Mental Asylum, Silent Shore and others. He has collaborated with many artists. Kaimo shared a few points about his work. I invite you to an interview conducted only for Visions Of Trance. 1. What is trance music to you? Trance music for me is a feeling/euphoria. It really is a state (of trance) if you will. A moment where you can get lost and carried away and forget everything else. Was that too cheesy answer haha? 2. How do you perceive the state of the current trance music scene? I think the current scene is in a pretty good state at the moment. There’s plenty of newcomers who aren’t afraid to experiment and borrow sounds from other genres aswell. "DNA v2.0," under the guise of Genetix, is a three-track collection. An old-school release from the legendary producer with fantastic melodies. Unfortunately, it's been forgotten by many.  On side A is "DNA v2.0." It's a truly magical track with a cosmic melody that will take you on a never-ending journey. I love this melody with its abundance of top-quality pads. On the other side, there's a different version. "DNA" clearly demonstrates his production skills. It's typical of Oliver's style.
