Image
Kaimo Kerge known as Kaimo K is an Estonian producer who has been associated with the trance scene for several years. He released his tracks on such labels as Amsterdam Trance Records, Uplift Recordings, Molekular Sounds, Mental Asylum, Silent Shore and others. He has collaborated with many artists. Kaimo shared a few points about his work. I invite you to an interview conducted only for Visions Of Trance. 1. What is trance music to you? Trance music for me is a feeling/euphoria. It really is a state (of trance) if you will. A moment where you can get lost and carried away and forget everything else. Was that too cheesy answer haha? 2. How do you perceive the state of the current trance music scene? I think the current scene is in a pretty good state at the moment. There’s plenty of newcomers who aren’t afraid to experiment and borrow sounds from other genres aswell. Of course there’s always this so called „template music“ but thats the thing with other genres aswell, right? 3. ...

It is often considered a contemporary take on music inspired by our insatiable thirst for technological development that bombards our senses. It has a much deeper history. Since the advent of electronic instruments in the 1920s, musicians have been experimenting with sounds that they can transform into songs.  This experiment is noticeable, for example, in the production of "Outface" by the legendary German duo Komakino. The song was released in 1993 on the Suck Me Plasma label. This is the hallmark of these producers. Reach out to this production and see this melody that differs from other pieces from this period. The track belongs to Hard Trance. A music video wa...

INGE LEMON - HUMANOID INTELLIGENCE (ALBUM INTERVIEW - Visions Of Trance)

Image
INGE LEMON - HUMANOID INTELLIGENCE         (ALBUM INTERVIEW - Visions Of Trance) 1. Hi, you just released your debut album, "Humanoid Intelligence." Where did the idea for the title come from? It’s in the title — it’s made with humanoid intelligence: me and AI. We’re in a moment of change. Music is no longer shaped only by human intelligence, and I see that as evolution, not a problem. Many artists are already using AI quietly — I just chose to do it openly. For me, it’s a tool to push ideas and emotion, just like artists have always used new technology. At the same time, I don’t believe organic, human-made music will ever disappear. That will always have its place. This is simply another layer — not a replacement. 2. What inspired you to write your debut studio album? Curiosity, more than anything. I had already been working on an album for over a year when I started experimenting with AI — and that’s when things became interesting. I used ...
