"SUGAR OF LIFE" by Philippe van Mullem is an unforgettable production, which was released on a vinyl record on the Green Martian label in 1997. Includes two versions: Club Mix and UK Mix. 



After all these years, I still come back to this track. It's incredibly well-built and multi-layered. Both mixes are magical from start to finish, feeling like two different songs. This producer remained a vital force for me in Belgian trance and progressive trance throughout the nineties and beyond. This track was his first under his own name, as he had previously released many tracks under projects such as Quadran, Innertales and Honey C. The material is a wonderfully constructed trance that perfectly reflected the times and was the first of many under his own name Philippe. It is definitely a diamond in his work. 

It was placed on the compilation From Bonzai With Love 97, or Green Martian Retrospective 1996/2002, as well as many others. This is one of those songs from the mentioned producer that I like to come back to. He left behind many more. It is not only the above-mentioned track. Many of his productions are old Belgian trance, which was made to a high standard.
