Over 20 trance albums were released in 2025. It was a rich year for this genre of electronic music. For CD and vinyl collectors, this was an added joy, as most of them were released in physical formats. This was precisely the case with the aforementioned releases. The undisputed number one album of 2025 is "Of The Essence" by Enigma State. It was very warmly received by many fans. The CDs and the three-disc vinyl edition sold like hotcakes. Congratulations to Nath Stealey for his incredible music. Blufeld is at number two. This will undoubtedly be a controversial choice for many of you. But first, check out "Fixed By The Aura," which is released on CD and double vinyl. I'm sure many of you missed this album. Factor B is at the bottom of the podium. His album "Bloom" is incredibly emotional. I didn't think its content would captivate me so much. Cold Blue and Nitrous Oxide are close behind. "Mountain" from German producer Tobias Schuh is a wonderful journey through a landscape of heavenly melodies. The minimal vocal elements make this album exceptional in every way. It's a captivating listen from start to finish. "Drive" from Chris Pretkiewicz is wonderful uplifting trance and beyond. The Polish producer has been delivering melodic music for many years. He can reach the listener's heart like few others. His music production skills are constantly evolving. This album is his best album to date. You'll find some truly solid melodies on it. It simply had to be in the Top 5 albums of 2025. Thank you to all the trance producers for delivering this magical music. Respect for your commitment and time. It took all of you many hours, supported by patience and determination, and you achieved your goal.
