REVIEW: "Fixated By The Aura" by BLUFELD

"Fixated By The Aura" is the sixth studio album by English producer David Hearn, who releases his music as Blufeld. The album was released on Addictive Sounds and is available on CD and vinyl at the following link:

It consists of 13 tracks, meticulously crafted to satisfy the listener. Blufeld has been crafting incredible trance and progressive trance melodies for years, and that's exactly what we get here. It's safe to say this is his best album yet. With a wealth of experience and influences from artists like M.I.K.E. and Airwave, this producer knows how to craft a story from every track. No matter where you listen (at home, on the beach, or in the car), this is a pleasant listening experience filled with a rich array of melodies. Each track is a different journey, adorned with incredible sounds. It makes you drift into another dimension and forget about everyday problems.

***It's a very exciting time for me, as I have tirelessly poured my heart into this project and it's been nearly 18 months of solid hard work which I'm super proud to share very soon. My whole new album i'm super proud of, but the title track for me is special, i don't often get this, but for me I get goosebumps hearing it! Which is big for me to have as i'm extremly critical of my own productions!!

I have always been inspired by the work of Laurent Veronnez and Mike Dierickx. Which is why I take a melodic emotional direction from Airwave, and a darker edged serious tone from M.I.K.E. and fuse this to create my own sound but with these two aspects into each of my productions, because for me these key elememts is what the best of trance should contain!!***

You can hear the vocals of the author of this album on it. Your hands will clap on their own. The pads strike deep within your senses, and the synths do a fantastic job. It makes me close my eyes and feel like I'm on a deserted island, alone with the music. It's hard to choose a favorite on this album. Certainly, many will say the title track is it. Each track brings something unique to the whole, something missing from other albums. This album was a perfect fit for my long journey. Time flew by, and the music guaranteed a smile. This artist has reached a higher level of creativity. It's worth buying the CD and vinyl versions. The music on this rich release is worth your attention. Trance is the most emotional genre of electronic music. Thanks to Blufeld for delivering another wonderful album.
