Since its inception in 2006, The Future Sound of Egypt brand has been at the forefront of the Trance music industry and has had a huge impact on the development of the entire scene. Year by year, the brand grew stronger and is now one of the main Trance brands in this genre. Aly & Fila have remained true to their roots from the beginning, and their huge success is proof that Trance is as alive as ever. The label joined forces with the Dutch label Armada Music in late 2010. The label, founded in February 2009, is home to high-quality trance releases from the world's most talented and passionate producers. Aly & Fila said: “With Armada behind us, we feel that Future Sound Of Egypt Recordings can grow at an ever-increasing pace and can help promote the label among the best in the scene.” With an ear for new talent and good music, Aly & Fila founded Future Sound of Egypt with the mission to help build and strengthen the trance scene and share their love for the genre with an Egyptian flavor. Aly & Fila further states: “We are very proud to be from Egypt and that our label also features other Egyptian artists. The Egyptian theme is unlike anything that has come before.”

Since 2016, Future Sound Of Egypt continues to operate as an independent label.
