Anthony Holt known as Nexus Frequency is an Australian producer who released his tracks on labels such as Yeiskomp Records, Trance People Records or Uplay Recordings. Its catalog of releases is constantly growing. Anthony shared some information about his work. I invite you to an interview conducted only for Visions Of Trance.

 

1. What are your goals in producing trance music ?

My goals are to produce more amazing songs with a female vocalist who I've been working with this year & also getting signed to more labels.


2. Who was your inspiration to start producing trance music ?

About 10 - 15 years ago I was spending my weekends going out to heaps of trance events and hanging out with plenty of trance djs and like minded people.

Instead of mixing other peoples music together I wanted to start making my own music.


3. Which song are you most proud of & why ?

I am proud of all the songs I have made and labels that have released them.

Also it's great when trance lovers around the world appreciate your songs.

4. What inspires you to create trance music ?

The mood I'm in mostly, If I'm happy and excited about something and have a idea in my head on how I want the song to come alive or when I'm listening to other music and see how my style of writing a track would work.


5. What hardware and software do you use to create trance music ?

I normally use Ableton and am learning FL atm. Also use various plugins and other samples I can use to create something special. In the past I have used Korg drum & rhythm machines and Roland samplers.

I'm looking into getting a Maschine Mk3 as a friend of mine owns one and he has shown me how amazing they are.
