Lukas Jankowski aka DJ Fantasia makes his debut on Rated Records. His track "Kosmonova" is further enhanced by a remix by Chris Caulfield, aka Balearic Bob. Here, you get a progressive sound with tech elements and a return to old-school trance sounds. The original version guarantees a fantastic adventure with the magical construction of sound balayages. The strings do a fantastic job.

I am looking at internet in various places where i can find some cool producers, that are doing really good trance music in the taste that I like. And of course very fast i have found Chris productions under his current nickname Balearic Bob.
That was track '7 Years' which is absoulutelly brilliant in my opinion. I can rate this track very high. Then i found his remix at Transtate records from D-Sky of a track 'Verano'. And then i have written to him at facebook comunicator, and he replied me and we slowely started to know each other. Natural was for me that i have offered him a colab track, and Chris has choosen 'Kosmonova', that one he liked the most. In overall i am really satisfied that this EP was released, and so fast it became a real thing for DJs and 2000 music fans, a real evidence that quality music still exist and can be played, supported , released and bought of course.
In my eyes Chris is one of the few best producers in this moment in the world, creating trance that i like the most. Trance that makes this TRANCE factor. When i hear the track and stop it i can remember what i have heard, even more i can say this melody goes along with me all day and sits in my head. That how 2000 bangers were always created, and also before classic trance tracks. My original version was done using few samples, and only Synth1-Virtual Analog Synth modelled on Clavia Nord Lead 2. Thats why sound is there and is so authentic.
The Balearic Bob remix is a perfect example of how such a track can be further enhanced with elements of Goa Trance. It's also a solid dose of music, built on the producer's extensive craftsmanship.

I have been producing trance music for many years now under many different aliases. I was feeling a bit of a disconnect to the modern trance sound, everything seemed to be more concerned about the production techniques and getting a polished sound rather than simply concentrating on what trance was essentially all about, the melodies and the emotion. A few years ago I set about trying to create something simple in the style as it would have been produced circa 1999/2000. This turned into “7 Years” and a new alias, Balearic Bob, was born.
Lukas reached out to me on facebook and showcased some of his productions which I thought were amazing, but one really stood out to me.
It was one that made me feel something, a connection to the music which is something I had not felt for a while. It instantly took me back to the early 90’s when I first discovered Goa Trance.
Myself & Lukas were originally going to remake the track as a collaboration, but then we decided it would be much better to release the original alongside a remix.
I decided to remix it with a bit of a psy twist, and a nod to the Goa Trance scene, hence the name “Full Moon Remix”.
It is great to see many more classic sounding trance tunes being created and released. Record labels are starting to recognise that this sound is slowly coming back and are signing more in this style.
I have many more releases coming out this year along with another alias called Luminai, in which the first track has been signed to Yanada Recordings. Look out for those!
The original version and remix are a perfect example of why producing trance music makes sense these days. Every collaboration is a rewarding experience for producers. Trance music creators deserve enormous respect for their time, patience, and commitment.
This release should stay in your speakers for a long time.
