John 00 Fleming's "The Lost Tribe" is an incredible journey through a vast array of soundscapes. If you're looking for trance straight from the underground, this music is for you. The strength of this album lies in the length of the tracks. There couldn't be any short tracks here. The energy comes from the long journey with each one. 18 distinct stories. Each one is a different journey into space. This is cosmic music in every way. I've listened to it twice today. My favorites are:
1. Butter Child
2. Transient Symbiosis (with Astral Projection)
3. Evolution (with Basil O'Glue & Nomas)
4. The Fire That Remains
5. Planning the Demise
The album aims to connect with a global audience seeking a deep connection with the culture of trance music and electronic music in general. It's about three hours of great music. There will be no other album like it. Over six years of sacrifice, ups and downs, to reach the happy ending of this release. It's an absolute favorite for album of the year. A vinyl release would be difficult to achieve. This release is a dream for many of us. Unless, of course, it's at least a double CD release, which would mean saying goodbye to two tracks to enjoy this masterful craft on a double CD. I still hope it happens and John treats his fans to a physical release. As devoted fans of this artist, we should support him in this endeavor!
