Dutch producer Ronald van Gelderen returns to his trance roots with his latest release, "Calling 99." The track was released on his RAW RCRDS label. ***I went back to 1999 in my heart and mind.

Back to when trance wasn't built for short attention spans, but for long emotional journeys. When tracks unfolded slowly and told a story. When melodies carried hope. When the dancefloor felt like one shared heartbeat.

I even returned to some of the original hardware from that era, producing the way I did back then. No pressure to make “the next big thing.” No chasing what's popular. Just me, the music, and the feeling.

That realization hit me deeply. A quarter of a century. A lifetime of memories. Highs and lows. Wins and losses. And recently, moments that remind me how fragile and precious everything is.

“Calling 99” was born from that space.
