It’s a well-known truth about trance music that every producer worth their salt of the sea has a Mediterranean-inspired track somewhere in their body. On this track, you get Balearic for a whole eight minutes. The track evokes a season like no other. Wailing orchestral violins hang in the background, only to be joined by a more prominent, guitar-based string theory.
From there, in a raft of fluttering, shimmering synths, a measured bass and countless broken sub-harmonic elements develop the summer white island theme brilliantly. Atop the drop, it races along in its compressed main line, cutting straight to the heart of the club floor. The track has been polished in every way and there are few weak points here.
These gentlemen have collaborated many times, but this track is a masterpiece. It stands out above their other productions. One can only regret that their project is now a thing of the past, but this music will remain forever in the hearts of true listeners.
