"Song For Sendai" by The Thrillseekers was originally released digitally in 2011 on His Adjusted Music label.

It wasn't until 2020 that This song was available on vinyl. It found its place on Reconnected Volume I.

The song was inspired by images broadcast to the world after the events in Japan. Steve Helstrip, who had just returned from a week-long tour, was unable to get these images out of his mind and felt compelled to help in some way. Therefore, all proceeds from this release are donated to the Japanese Red Cross to support their relief efforts. The cover features the Japanese saying "kishi kaisei", meaning "to recover from a desperate situation and overcome adversity".

This representation can be heard in the music. A beautiful melody worth returning to. The English producer has always been able to deliver emotional melodies. This track is fully confirmation of this.
