"Quantum Leap" by Luc Poublon is a powerful classic that has gone down in Trance music history. The vinyl record was released in 2002 on A Trance Communication Release.

It contains the original version and a remix by D2C, who was an alias of the title artist. On the label it is embossed as Dc2. I think there was a mistake here. The original version is Classic Trance at its best, which moves with its heavenly melody that you can fall in love with forever. Contrast sounds of the old Trance sound from over twenty years ago still captivate many fans.

This track is one of the main determinants of the Dutch producer's work. With tracks like these you can move mountains and feel like you're in heaven. I love this melody, which won me over after the first listen. It was later filled with vocals and released as "Gerontion" on Initials Records. "Gerontion" became a YouTube hit, with thousands of people using the song as background music for their videos.

On the other side of the vinyl is "D2C Remix". That's completely different melody structure, but it's also a great song. It's certainly overshadowed by the original, but it still has its listeners today. My group of friends like the remix more. I am more inclined towards the original. With the note that sometimes I reach for the remix. A great vinyl record that should be in the collection of every Trance fan. The Spanish edition from the Insolent Tracks label also includes a remix from Sassot . This is the vinyl edition that has just joined my collection.
