Solarstone was a 3 piece band formerly known as The Space Kittens - when we were doing Acid, Disco, House. The name change happened when the music style started to change, we were doing trance remixes for Perfecto as Space Kittens - but when we produced "The Calling" and "Red Jerry" with Hooj Choons - we suggested a name change. Sam left in 1998 because he had no taste for trance music, then around 2005 Andy also lost interest in trance. Nothing really happened for a few years until I got fed up with the lack of momentum and decided to go solo. Production has always been my domain after Sam left, so it was only natural for me to go solo when Andy decided to go his own way.
